There album "Break Up Songs" was recorded almost entirely by the band in their own Studio 9 basement bunker in Minneapolis over an exhaustive twelve month period.

Although impressive, their recordings didn't completely "gel" until Landing Gear enlisted the talents of Bryan Hanna (Faux Jean, Papas Fritas) to put on final production touches and to mix at the Terrarium studio. The results are a distinctive, heady pop classic.
