K32 - Bios

Mike Britt - Singer, Acoustic Guitar and songwriter
Mike hails from Roseburg, Oregon, spending his last twelve years in Ocean Beach. His vocals are smooth and intoxicating and the lyrics of his songs are very truthful and sometimes biting. He is a wordsmith who handpicks each letter to build the words that set the stage for a three and a half minute matinée. You can feel the emotion and care Mike puts into his songwriting. Prior to joining his previous band, 20 Miles South, Mike played the coffee house circuit in San Diego, Kuwait and Iraq during Desert Storm as a solo artist and part-time soldier.

Jon Garner - Lead Guitar and back-up vocals
Jon comes to K32 and San Diego by way of New England. Jon's lead guitar work embellishes Mike’s vocals with both melodic and tasty jazz-influenced licks. Prior to joining K32, John has been a leader and/or sideman in a variety of traditional and contemporary ensembles ranging from jazz and classical to punk rock. Local live performance and studio experience with the groups Blume, Aqua Dulce, D.frost, Blue Seven, Rezolution, Yavaz, Citymouse, and the Skeleton Key Orchestra among other jazz and top 40 professional ensembles. John is the learned musician in the group. He holds both a Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Music Degree, Jazz Specialization from San Diego State University.

Rich Wright - Upright Bass
Rich is a native San Diegan. In fact, he lives in the same house in which he grew up. This reflects his bass playing, never venturing far from the root. He and his best friend, his bass “Cedro”, add some climate control with a bigger than life (and yes, size does matter) bottom end purr to the sound of K32. Rich played in local San Diego bands: Boy Roy and the All-White Soul Band, Green Flash and Greenroom Boys and the Imposters.

Issac Crow - Drums
Little is known about Issac other than his strong sense of timing and his ability to influence every song positively. There are no pictures of him available, however, you can see him behind the drums to our shows. Issac is also a classically trained musician and is currently working on a music degree. Many of his previous credits are with jazz ensembles and as the house drummer at most jazz open mic nights.
