Hillcrest Road - Formed in May of 2005, Hillcrest Road were originally known as Straight Outa Compton. After shuffling band members and leaving their hometown of Green Bay, they adopted the name Hillcrest Road, based on a highway sign for Exit 157 that they passed on their frequent trips to Milwaukee and Chicago.

Their main goal is to create music that their listeners can hum or sing along to. Their lyrics are drawn from their personal experiences, feelings, and mishaps, which many of their listeners can easily relate to.

Hillcrest Road contains the guitar stylings of Jake Brenwall and the lyrical mastery of Scott Dangerfield, along with bassist Chris Bartel and new drummer Patrick Gonyo and Keyboardist Tom Giles. The will be releasing their upcoming LP in late summer or fall of 2006.
